Kerry Goldberg was inspired to represent women dealing with sex crimes because of her own personal experiences. She alleges that she went on a date with a man and after he gave her something to drink, he started to feel out of it. He brought her to an apartment where he didn't just have sex with her. It was only when she got home that she realized he'd sutured a swastika onto her body.
