The Federal Reserve's Decision to Rake Interest Rates

I think the usual corporate right now is Italy again, primarily for sovereignty and sustainability. We're in a very uncomfortable situation where ECB is still purchasing Italian debt while selling German debt. And I don't believe they have found a proper solution for it. So their action was a bit surprising. The only way I can explain it is that they might be tinkering with the idea of moving the inflation target. Or come up with a regime that is much more flexible, than just a well-defined target.
