High grade slash dysplastic patients may develop a quote heart shaped buttock due to sacral prominence. Oblique views may show sclerosis and elongation in the pars interarticularis, otherwise known as the Scotty dog sign. A single photon emission computer tomography or a spec scan was previously considered the best diagnostic adjunct when plane radiographs are negative.
