The Dangers of Inadequately Cooking Pork and Shellfish

The theory doesn't really make medical or hygienic sense because all animal species can carry parasites that make their flesh dangerous when not properly cooked. The other problem is there's really no notion in the Old Testament of any sort of public health program or public health sort of consciousness in other areas.
