The Nebraska legislature is unlikely to pass a six-week abortion ban. Lawmakers fell just short of one vote needed to break a filibuster. The bill probably won't move forward this legislative session. Meanwhile, South Carolina state senators rejected a bill that would have banned nearly all abortions in the state. This is now the third time since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade that a near total abortion ban has failed in the South Carolina Senate.
