The Year Long Celebrations, Sabbaths and Other Festivals That the Israelites Celebrate
chapter 28 and 29 are basically one long chapter divided into two because it all is concerning the same thing. It starts with what's called the daily offering, which we covered back in Exodus. And then just by way of progression, we started with daily and now weekly and then there's a monthly offering that is also spelled out. Then it moves from there to the tenth day of the seventh month, which is Yom Kippur,. And then finally, it wraps up with the final festival of the Israelite year, the festival of tabernacles.
