Buying an Apartment in a Melbourne?

I have never experienced so much inquiry for apartment purchases in Melbourne. The narrative around apartments has always been that they're a bad investment you should buy land and why would you buy an apartment? But it's interesting that the demand is coming out of desperation to go and buy something that they're not 100% okay with but it gives them a roof over their head and security right. I am seeing a little bit of that with certainly people who I spoke to maybe mid last year so mid 2022 and now revisiting the whole buying scenario early 2023.
