Who we are is a much better predictor than what we know about parenting and what we say to our children. There's some interesting research about kind of this over praising and parental guilt, that we over praise because we feel guilty. So i think it's about how we show up in our own lives and how we showUp in their lives, and i think that is far more powerful.
