Stan had weakness but was able to walk with his left leg. He was unable to close and open his hand. Three years after his stroke, Stan underwent an eight-hour long operation where a deep brain stimulator was placed into the cerebellum of his brain. Within the first month, I can lift my left arm, which I couldn't do. For Stan, it now means being able to live independently. And hopefully one day, you'll be able to play again.
