The Memory Palace

Each time you bring up a memory, you're not just removing it pristine from the vault and then returning it pristine to the vault. You're updating it each time because your brain needs updated information. So people have had horrible memories for as long as we've had to remember things. But what to do if you're in the Roman Empire for instance, just hanging out and you don't necessarily have a ton of books around you or your your iPhone there? Well, in this case, you turned to something called the memory palace. Also known as the method of Loki, right? That's right.
