Georgia scaled back somewhat the number of early voting days and that sort of thing, but still left it much more liberal than in many northeastern states. The conventional wisdom up until a few years ago was that low turn out is good for republicans because they are appealing to alienated people who are harder to motiveite to get polesMany times. And democrats are more easily discouraged. Trump has changed everything. It's not at all clear that low turnout is good for Republicans. We have a lot of accusations of voters suppression. Yet, why are we breaking these turnout records if it's unprecedented voter suppression?
