The Legacy of Walter Scott

Walter scott's legacy is huge, and probably we're not even aware of how big it is. I think the highland culture that we think about is very close to that in scott's novels and some of the films. So i think while he's much less popular now than he was in the nineteenth century, there is still that legacy of getting us to think about the relationship between the past and present.
