Medial Epicondolectomy in Pediatrics
Medial epicondolectomy is indicated when there's visible and symptomatic subluxating of the ulnar nerve as well as in thin patients with inadequate subcutaneous tissue to perform a transposition. Endoscopically assisted cubital tonal release is an option and there are favorable early results, but it lacks long-term data. NSAIDs activity modification and nighttime elbow extension splinting will specifically involve night bracing in 45 degrees of extension with the forearm in neutral rotation.
