No debates allowed in the uk because of fear of an irrelevant intervention. Research was orienta todes demonstrating power of television, says Jack Spirsi. But no significant differences could be found despite research design or experimental method when applied. There were too many other influences at work that led to a general withdrawal of interest from media.
