How decisive or significant actually was the us victory at midway? Does it deserve its reputation as a key turning point in the battle for the pacific? We would argue yes, because it essentially tears the heart out of the quido. That said, we acknowledge that there are later battles which are also very important. But in terms of actually changing the dynamic midways is pretty much unquestioned.
