Uber and Airbnb both seem to be on the face very similar businesses, but you highlight that kind of Uber's business is much more vulnerable to competition than Airbnb's. Why is it easier to cry the customers away from Uber with a say a competing right? Ride sharing platform, then it would be to pry people away from say Airbnb. But in the digital world, you're able to use the data in ways to try to make up for the facility with which customers can now switch by offering those customers more information.
