Herman now permanently lives in new zealand and is 77 years old. Nadine and remi continued to live in igland for many years after charles and marie andrea fled the country. Dominique is safely back in france, where he had to start his life from scratch. Charles is alive and married too, which is not a terrible fate for some one who killed 12 and possibly 30 young people just on a journey to figure their lives out. But from everything we know, there seems to be no re se in the heart of this man for the crimes he has committed.
