Is Facebook Trying to Attract Younger People?

An internal blog post at what was then facebook and now as meta revealed that the company s actively pursuing opportunities to market to kids. Facebook reps defended the blog post, they argued that any business that interfaces with the public is always trying to attract new and younger people all the time. But i would add it is a little creepy when you think that, as a kind of preventive measure, facebook set an age limit on who could have a facebook or an instagram profile.
