Are We the Anomalies of History?

Do you see people coming more and more awake to some of those realities? I think yeah, I think the timing of the book's release certainly didn't hurt. Things were coming off at the wheels when I was talking about things like brittle systems in the book. The historian Joseph Tainer talks about the collapse of complex societies. He basically says that all societies reach a certain level of complexity whereby it's no longer possible to sustain the level of complexity they have.
