What's the Mosaic in Room 28?
Mosaics in the rear of a Roman villa have been found. The foundation trench has to be earlier than the mosaics, says archaeologist John Riddell. Two halves were expected to get radio carbon dates from about fifth or sixth century. But they came back after being used as building material for re-used tiles.
