As we move into the 20th century and you get surrealism bursting onto the scene, your spoiled for choice. How do you find the weirdest bits of art when the whole genre is essentially weird? I mean, you could quite happily produce multiple books just on the surrealists themselves. So you have to take the same approaches with everything else. You have to think, well, what painting can represent that era, that movement generally? What can you offer that perhaps people haven't read? But I think sometimes it's important to choose the image that everyone thinks of.
