Eugenics and Eugenic Theory in Latin America

Eugenics is not only a transnational kind of movementa, it is also uniquely localized. In the latin american case, eugenics is very much bound by the borders of each nation. And what they aim to do, like i said, in the chilean case, most people are talking about, is further refining the racial homogeneity that characterized that place. That's true in chile, that's true in england. It was truly something that appealed to people at a fundamental level and was treated as very serious business.
