The inertia of the status quo is so powerful. So we create a policy that makes a ton of sense for our 10-person business. And suddenly we're 100 people working with that same policy, and it's just wrong. We don't really want to stick our neck out to change it. It doesn't seem like the priority. Things pile up. Look in your kitchen drawer or your garage, I always tell clients, you want to tell me that doesn't pile up, just open a kitchen drawer and tell me, you know, open your desk drawer.
