What Makes Guantanimo Irresistible?

The world seems less outraged about it than it was a few years ago, and so there isn't the sort of day to day pressure on it that there was only relatively recently. There is a great discrepancy in transatlantic, and for that matter, us, versus a lot of the rest of the world's views of the scope of those military authorities. This creates a long term irritant a that may be to some degree irresolvable.
