Introduction

Rob roy macgregor was a scottish bandit who died on December 20, 17 34. He became one of the world's most enduring literary legends in his own lifetime. The first written account of his life was published 11 years before his death by daniel defoe titled highland rogue. Rob inherited red hair from his mother, margaret campbell which inspired his nickname rabert rud - robert the red in gaelic.
