In 19 88, ten year interest rates in the united states were about 12 percent. They had come down from 20 percent in 19 82 when volker turned the screws on inflation. There's basically been a forty year bull market in bonds. And i and as also, you know, as we've seen this multi decade, buol maket for bons because interest rates have been coming down ovet time.
