Inspectal reading is the art of getting the most from a book in a given time. It begins with systematic skimming, which can take 10 minutes to an hour. Skim pivotal chapters in full, especially opening and summary statements. And read the last two or three pages in the main part of the book. Third, pencil some brief structural notes. Blank, frank pages are a great place to do this. Is it a non-fiction, narrative non-fiction fiction? A prose verse, theatre, other or a mix?"
