Every time i read it, i start to cry. It's one of my favorite essays in the book. No system with policing and prisons at its heart can regularly deliver justice to black people as these institutions are designed to criminalize our existence. Yes, just some of the more than 200 black people that have been killed since george floyd in minneapolis, since r a tailor in louisville, kentucky.
