The Challenges of Designing an Electrolyte for a Battery
There are over six billion molecules known today and you could use any one of them inside the battery. This is where we have a needle in a haystack problem to try and find molecules from this list that can enable the next generation batteries which store more energy. Many of the research innovations from my research group at Carnegie Mellon and many of the innovations that I have been able to translate through AONX has helped us develop these new types of batteries.
