Is Consciousness a Thing?
If you were an alien that didn't know anything about humans, but somehow got your hands on a human physics text book, and figured o how to interpret them, you would never have any particular reason to think consciousness was a thing. Yet i can understand the temptation to believe that, because it seems very scientific. But personally, i strongly disagree. I think it's a confusion on multiple levels. So for now, i'm comfortable putting it into its own space, those experiences.
