Is Kevin Cruz Really a Total Conservative?

I have never seen a debate between a prominent historian in our field with someone, anyone else, about fundamental issues. They live in echo chambers. It's out of boys. You get the people that agree with you and you publish around with them. But there's never really any critique. If somebody wants to publish a book that might be a little outside the mainstream, there's always an apology for it. And so they end up not being nearly as bright as they would be.
