CND were opposed to the idea of preparing for nuclear war. One CND activist built himself a shelter and stayed in it for two weeks. He had to use a bucket for his toilet needs and put some of his, I don't know, the plate wave of his saying it, but put his waist in little plastic bags. And after a few days in this dark, quiet bunker, he began hearing a strange whistling noise,. Then he realized it was coming from his tightly wrapped little poo bags.
