Teaching Backward Design in the Clinical Setting?

Kendra: I would definitely recommend reading Understanding by Design, written by Grant Wiggins and Jay McThi. It explains beautifully how you can incorporate backward design in each chapter kind of elaborates on the various stages of backward design. Charlotte is working on a project with me where our MedEd pathway residents will be trained to create effective lesson plans using backward design. And then those resident participants will use the skills that they've learned to teach patients in a shared medical visits.
