A man finds himself in a strange hotel or hospice. He tries to call his wife and say where he is, but they don't have a telephone here. They keep bringing him food, tons and tons of food, and he notices that everybody around him is just not talking. There's something very odd going on, and you don't really know what it is. And so anyway, this is kind of just givin you an idea of this. But it's just a very odd, unsettling book.
