The Importance of Choices in Rights
Rights theory of rights is an approximation to morality and it's only persons that can have rights. Rights depend on choices that they depend on the choices that a person makes so any rights this deaf or hearing child may have are to do with that child's choices. You can easily harm someone deprives them of rights before they are born not because the entity before they're born has the rights but because they will have them.
