Hercules Cleans the Cattle Stables and Battles Bronze-Beaked Birds
Hercules reroutes a river to clean the cattle stables, but is refused payment by King August. He then scares off poisonous birds with bronze castanets and completes his sixth labor. The chapter also briefly mentions Hercules' encounter with the birds in the story of Jason and the Argonauts.
