A New Threat - Headcrab
NIST has published a report encouraging the use of phishing-resistant authenticators. The Headcrab botnet primarily targets reddish servers, which Aquanautilus calls open source in-memory data structure stores. Proofpoint researchers have observed an increase in the use of Microsoft OneNote documents as a delivery mechanism for malware in email by threat actors.
