The Republican-Led State of South Carolina Passes a Near Total Ban on Abortion

Aids say DeSantis's policies will boost his candidacy but it remains to be seen how his track record which includes signing conservative bills on abortion, transgender rights and education is seen nationwide. The suspect accused of crashing a rented truck into a security barrier near the White House on Monday night appeared in a DC courtroom today. It comes as the Department of Homeland Security issued a new terror-related bulletin warning of threats based on ideological beliefs. South Carolina is the latest Republican-led state to pass a near total ban on abortion.
