Is Extreme Ideology a Risk Factor in Male Supremacy?
In 2011 of the case in Norway of Anders Braevik who killed nearly 80 people in one horrific you know killing spree a psychiatric evaluation showed he was not psychotic but driven by extreme far-right ideology. I think we have quite a lot of evidence that young people who are ruthless and stateless who don't have a kind of secure family background maybe more at risk being drawn to a kind of rigid certainty, she says. It's absolutely vital to the work that I do that we take people's cruelty seriously and their identity is perpetrated seriously my work is all about talking with people about what they did and how they came to let themselves do it.
