He was desperate to get access to some one, a woman who could give him a son ad. And when it became apparent that wasn't gong to be catherine of arrands he felt himself justified in divorcing his brother's wife and marrying someone else. But again, he e wasn't trying. He wasn't, it wasn't his original motivation to create a new church. It wasn't to break with with the catholic church with the intention of starting a new religion. That was just the practicalities of creating a situation in which he felt justified in moving on with his lifead and marrying other people.
