How to Program Resistance Training in a PT Setting
The idea is that you're creating this program based on what the person can do, based on the current injury in a physical therapy setting. Within each movement category, I think about a primary, a secondary, and a tertiary type of movement. And so within each of these categories, we should be identifying movements that the person canDo Based on whatever their current restrictions are in the PT setting. So if I picked a back squat for the primary movement, leg press for the secondary movement, I might pick split squat or lunge or leg extensions as an example.
