What's the Difference Between Chattel Slavery and Indentured Servitude?
Slavery in that context is completely normal. In fact, it's one of the ways in which people cared for each other. If there is someone who is a slave, then there are some perometers. You can't do anything you want with them. They are not truly your property, but they are a human being who's in your employ essentially at your service. Same kind of thing comes to an eye for an eye when somebody hurts another person. We're going to get through this and we're going to learn how to live our lives justicefully.
