The Fear of Not Making the Most of Every Moment

I was reading that you fear about not using every moment or making the most of it. Where does that come from? The only thing that my parents and my family have ever wanted from any of us is to be happy. And so I think that that just comes from when I know those circumstances are right. No matter what happened tomorrow, I'd be very happy with what had come before me.
