The Democratic Leaders of the House and Senate Leave a Meeting at the White House
The U.S. Secret Service is now investigating how an intruder was able to enter the home of White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan last month. The agents who were on duty at Sullivan's home did not know that the intruder had made his way in, according to a statement from the Secret Service. None of those that we just heard from are projecting any optimism that it will be easy to reach a deal to avoid the economic catastrophe that the Secretary of Treasury says could come as soon as June.
