The Dangers of Purity Culture

Purity culture often adopts dehumanizing attitudes towards women. It also creates a culture where when something really nefarious happens, it then becomes automatically the woman who is on trial in that system. Most Christian men wouldn't say they hold misogynistic attitudes or prejudices against women.
