The Importance of Jacob's Law in User Education
Jacob's Law would go counter to that, but obviously all rules are meant to be broken. So what do you stand here? Yeah, I think there are some really good examples of people breaking the rules in a way that follows user behavior as it already is. The canonical example of this would be pull to refresh. It was very early on, but it was one of those things that took Apple a few years to assimilate into their own OS,. But now it's standard across the board.
