The Importance of Staking

The IRS hasn't issued any guidance on staking. The whole premise of buying Bitcoin or some other digital asset, you buy it because you believe the price is gonna go up. That's no different than if you have a brokerage account and someone magically dropped a share of Microsoft in there. So things like air drops and forks, yeah, we have guidance on that. Things like staking though, is not exactly clear"
