The city of Fort Worth, Texas has confirmed that threat actors gained unauthorized access to its data in an incident discovered on Friday. A group named Siege Tsek has claimed responsibility for the attack and issued a statement saying they have made Texas their target because it is one of the largest states banning gender-affirming care. Joseph James O'Connor, who participated in the July 2020 Twitter hack has been sentenced to five years in a U.S. prison. After serving his five-year sentence, O'Connor will have to serve three years of supervised release.
