In high school, we learned about fallacies and logical fallacies. I've used that to this day on a daily basis in being able to identify when somebody says you're just an old white guy. We psychoanalysis destroyed American psychiatry for 50 years because we became preoccupied with that. And while it's in fascinating and interesting and reasonable discipline, it shouldn't have taken over a medical discipline.
