The judge overseeing Sam's hearings happens to be the same one who sentenced him in the identity theft case a few years back. Nadi doesn't come up at all during these hearings, which actually isn't surprising, but I can see that being prejudicial. He may not have battered Jane until she was black and blue, but he did commit a classic act of domestic violence. In August, detectives do get a tip that Nadi was spotted at the Dolphin Mall.
